  $7500 - Federal Tea Set. New York Ca 1790 18th C. New York Neoclassical Federal Sterling Tea Service. Maker's mark of John Sayre, worked Southampton N.Y. & New York N.Y. circa 1790 Comprising teapot, covered sugar bowl, and cream jug; the rims bright-cut engraved with bands of swagging & ribbons, the side engraved with crossed fronds enclosing on one side the monogram TAW, the teapot with wood handle (nicely reglued old break), high-domed hinged cover with urn-form finials, marked under base and rim of foot. The teapot 12 in. long over handle, 7.5" tall; gross weight 40 troy oz. 6-10105-10.650

  Taxco Sterling hand hammered bowl, melon form w/ repousse floral pattern, and applied leaf and stem feet and handles. Marked "SANBORNS MEXICO STERLING" w/ the 3 Owls mark. A fabulous bowl w/ very good weight and patina 13" long 3" high over 650 grams (my scales max) - #6.10013.11507
